Christmas Party Night – 2024

It’s party time again and this year we’ve secured exclusive use of The Ol’Chemist for the evening!

The Ol’Chemist is a fantastic bar and restaurant near the Old Market Hall.

Cocktails, craft beer, and all sorts of other drinks on offer as well as fantastic food including steak sandwich, burgers, beef tacos and thai red curry ramens.

There will be a Secret Santa, music, live comedy, cabaret show, special celebrity guest appearances and even the chance to win £1 million pounds! Well, there will be a Secret Santa at the very least.

DETAILS – Please read!

• 6-11pm. Turn up whenever you want, come early, go early, come late – totally up to you.
• Please feel free to bring husbands, wives, partners, friends, work colleagues or people you’ve worked with over the year. The more the merrier!
• You must purchase the £10 deposit ticket to attend. This £10 will be handed back to you when you arrive on the night. If you don’t show up, your deposit will be paid across to the venue as part of our hire commitments.
• Everyone attending must purchase a deposit ticket. So if you are inviting guests please make sure they either purchase the deposit ticket here or you purchase tickets for them. We have to give the venue numbers in advance so if you turn up on the night without a ticket then you’ll not be allowed in.
• Secret Santa – I will send arrangements to those that purchase tickets – will be similar theme to last year with around £5 max spend on a present.

Drinks: There will be a full selection of drinks, cocktails, beers, wine etc and soft drinks available for you to purchase from the bar during the evening.

Food: There’s a great selection of food available for you which you need to order in advance. There will not be a formal dinner so whether you eat or not is up to you. You must order food in advance using the link below and on the night just give your name and they’ll bring your food. Kitchen closes around 9pm.

• Cubano – mojito marinated pulled pork, honey roasted ham, cheese, mustard & pickles toasted baguette, slaw £10.50
• Mac & Cheese £8.50 (straight up or with braised beef + £2, pulled pork +£2)
• Ol’Chemist Burger – with all the trimmings and fries £13.50
• Croque Monsieur £10
• Rarebit Grilled Cheese on Sourdough £8.50
• Steak Sandwich – with caramelised onion, cheese, nduja butter and slaw £11.50
• Thai Red Curry Ramen (with chicken or marinated tofu) £10.50
• Fries with any of the above £2
